The programs at Dallas Habitat provide resources to families far beyond our traditional homeownership opportunities. Through our partnerships with community members and groups, foundations, corporations, volunteers, civic leaders and more, we continue to find innovative ways to empower and transform the city that we call home.

Neighborhood Empowerment offers homeowner education classes, support with neighborhood association and crime watch meetings and referrals to a host of additional neighborhood resources in order to engage, empower and transform neighborhoods in Dallas County.

A Brush With Kindness (ABWK) is Dallas Habitat’s exterior home repair program, available to homeowners who would otherwise be unable to improve and maintain their home. Repairs are made with the goal of improving the integrity and safety of the home and can include improvements to roofs, exterior paint, siding replacement, ramp construction, and more.
