PART-TIME DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE

This part-time (25 hours per/week) position will support the Development Department and the team’s fundraising efforts.  Working under the direct supervision of the Manager of Annual Giving, this position is primarily responsible for assisting the Manager of Annual Giving in implementation of annual fund development activities.  She/he must be a flexible, organized, detail-oriented team player with excellent skills in communication (oral and written).  She/he enjoys working with a close-knit team in a fast-paced office and has a clear understanding of technology. Experience in nonprofit fundraising is preferred.

HUMAN RESOURCES PEOPLE ASSOCIATE

The Human Resources People Associate is a hands-on representative of the Human Resources /People department whose job is to help facilitate all basic Human Resources functions. The Associate works on the administration and maintenance of human resources activities and programs, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, payroll administration, employee training and staff development, performance management, and workplace safety. With diverse yet substantive job responsibilities, the Human Resources People Associate works with both current employees and new hires, making this a key position within Dallas Habitat for Humanity.  The incumbent plays a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of the organization and being responsible for much of the work that makes the HR department run smoothly.

Veteran Outreach Associate

The Veteran Outreach Associate serves as a liaison between DAHFH, individual veterans and veteran groups in the Dallas-FW Metroplex. The overall responsibilities include conducting outreach activities, screening Veterans seeking services, conducting program eligibility and assessment, identifying community resources, providing information/referral services and providing advocacy and program recordkeeping.   The VOA will have a working knowledge of Habitat for Humanity and its overall operations, develop and lead all veteran outreach strategies, and have excellent customer relations abilities. This position requires the ability to work with Veterans and low-income populations, meet monthly goals, exercise good judgment, and coordinate with a wide range of Veterans service organizations.

ABWK COORDINATOR

The A Brush with Kindness (ABWK) Coordinator is responsible for all Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity procedures for the qualification of homeowner families eligible for home repair in neighborhoods where Dallas Habitat is building new homes and the programs designed to support homeowners after they have been selected. This position will supervise and coordinate the work of the Family Selection and the Qualification process.

ReStore Cashier/Sales Associate (Part-Time)

The primary task of the P/T Sales Associate is to provide service through the timely and accurate processing of customer transactions; provides general clerical and customer service support in the collection, verification and balancing of cash and credit receipts; provides effective and efficient accounting and revenue receipt support as assigned; provides professional, effective and efficient assistance to the general public. Receives daily direction from the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Provides special assistance to the Store Manager, Assistant Manager and Sales Associates as required for the proper functioning of their positions.
